I’m just sitting here, scrolling through another day’s chaos, and boom—this job listing pops up. Outta nowhere. Sony, of all folks, seems like they’re kinda… opening the gates a bit? Not what I expected before my coffee, I’ll tell you that.
So, there’s this gig they posted. They want someone to help scatter PlayStation Studios’ games all over the place—like confetti or something. Platforms like Steam, the Epic Games Store, even Xbox and Nintendo. Yep, Xbox mentioned right there. Those two have been like cats and dogs, right? Or maybe like ferrets and—okay, I lost the analogy. Happens.
Anyway, it’s been a slow dance this change. First, they dropped some games on PC. I guess folks started lifting eyebrows when that happened. Not to mention, Helldivers 2 is gonna strut its stuff with cross-play on Xbox soon. Imagine that—your PS friends and Xbox pals all playing nice together. Sort of.
And here we are, watching Sony slowly crack open that exclusivity vault. The vault I’ve dreamed of breaking into, if we’re being honest. But are they really gonna let others peek in? Or is this just a fling?
What’s the mood? Giddy? Suspicious? Maybe too early to call it. Anyway, curious to hear what everyone’s thinking. Sound off if you’re feeling it—or if you’re not. Whatever floats your boat.
