Oh wow, where do I even start with this? So, um, there’s this game, right? It’s called Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist. And get this — the folks at Resolute Games just wrapped up their Kickstarter campaign for it. They totally smashed it, raking in over $170k! I mean, that’s more cash than I’ll probably ever see, but hey, good for them.
So, they kicked things off back on June 24th. And guess what? Within like an hour and a half or something, they’d already hit their initial goal of $25,000. Wild, huh? Like, did people just throw their wallets at them? I guess so.
Fast forward a week and they breezed past $100k. Not kidding. And that unlocked all sorts of fancy extras. Think bonfire healing — sounds cozy, right? — plus new abilities, shiny new species to play as, and even pets with abilities. Because who doesn’t want a magical pet? I know I do.
Eldramoor’s supposed to be this massive, sprawling world with a bunch of zones. Five, I think? Each like their own little universe. You’ve got your treasures, challenges, and just random folks wandering around. If you stick to the trail, you’re basically missing the party. It’s all about the adventure, apparently.
And it’s not just about running solo — nope, it’s very much a social creature. Guilds, dungeons, and battling it out in PvP. Oh, and those “multiplayer profession trains”? No idea what that’s about, but it sounds intriguing. Just imagine teaming up with randoms around a bonfire. Toasty.
Now, even though they’ve got a hefty pile of Kickstarter cash, they’re likely angling for some extra funds elsewhere. Because, honestly, building a game this big probably isn’t cheap. December 2026 is when backers are supposed to get their hands on it, and it’ll work with Quest 3 and SteamVR. That’s, like, high-end virtual reality stuff.
Anyway, if you’re curious or just need to distract yourself from whatever, hop over to their Steam page. Or peep the updates that Kickstarter’s got. I guess that’s it. Or is it? Uh, yeah, that’s it.
