I’m not sure what it is about gooey stuff that gets people so hooked, but here we go. So, there’s this VR indie company, Retrocell, and they’re diving into slime. Yeah, slime. They’re whipping up this liquid physics simulator where you can get your hands dirty — well, virtually dirty — with all sorts of slimy concoctions.
Now, they’re aiming this thing at Quest and SteamVR setups. But it’s not just about playing mad scientist with various goos. Oh no, it’s like an entrepreneurial adventure or something. You create these weird slimy blends to make cash by filling orders from other slime enthusiasts. Sounds messy, but hey, someone’s gotta love it.
Oh, and you gotta keep your little lab running smooth, which means buying stuff, upgrading gadgets, and digging up new ingredients. I guess it’s like a virtual slime empire in the making?
Retrocell’s throwing in a bunch of bells and whistles too — charms, glow effects, sticky levels. You can melt the slime, freeze it, reshape it, whatever tickles your fancy. Fancy that.
When’s it coming out, you ask? Who knows. They’re hush-hush on the release date. But what’s clear is that they’re making it slick for Quest 3, boasting better graphics and all that tech wizardry.
If you can’t wait, just slap it on your wishlist over at the Horizon Store for Quest or on Steam if you’re rolling with PC VR. Guess we’ll just have to summon some patience for this one.
