Elden Ring Nightreign just hit the shelves, and yep, folks are chatting. Most of ’em dig it, but some are grumbling that it’s basically a beast if you’re playing alone. I mean, FromSoftware never really makes it easy, right? Anyway, word on the street is the devs have got their ears wide open. They’re whipping up a patch, and it’s dropping next week. It’s supposed to help lonely warriors a bit — not that it’ll turn the game into a walk in the park, mind you. This is FromSoftware we’re talking about. They like it tough.
The big announcement came out on X (formerly Twitter, I think… unless I mixed that up?). They mentioned Patch 1.02 is coming soon. Supposedly, it’s packed with some bug fixes — and a little loving for those brave solo adventurers. Something about letting them self-revive during those night boss fights. Like a one-time deal each battle. Oh, and they’ll get more runes when they squash enemies too. Sweet, right?
But, and here’s the kicker — even with the patch, you’re not going to breeze through pretending you’re Let Me Solo Her. Nightreign’s really more of a trio dance, not a solo act. Some of those bosses? They just love to call in their buddies to crash the party. Doesn’t matter if it’s patched up, tackling that mob ain’t gonna be a cakewalk solo.
