So, today, wow, THQ Nordic blew the lid off the gaming scene at their annual showcase. Honestly, felt like a virtual candy shop — something for everyone. Games galore like Reanimal, Tides of Tomorrow, The Eternal Life of Goldman. Oh, and a Gothic 1 Remake demo, ready for Xbox head-first diving today! Can you believe it?
Alright, bear with me, trying to recap this without getting lost in my own excitement. So, um, SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide — yeah, pre-order’s up as of NOW. Comes out November 18 on Xbox Series X|S. You get to run Bikini Bottom as both SpongeBob and Patrick. And guess who’s serenading us? David Hasselhoff. Yeah, I don’t get it either, but here we are.
Grab the pre-order bonus — some Natural Costume Pack DLC thing. Check out the Ghostly Digital and Ultimate Editions too if you crave more rewards than a crazed squirrel storing acorns. There’s a Tidal Season Pass, with two DLCs and costume packs. Hype train’s rolling real fast!
Oh, Gothic Remake — demo time! So, if you fancy a trip back to the Mines of Madness, jump into the Nyras Prologue. But wait, shouldn’t spoilers be off the table? Eh, as if I care. This RPG remake is like a golden oldie wrapped in a shiny new cover — for those RPG lovers who yearn for the glory days. Did I hear Gothic Classics coming in 2026? I did!
Then there’s The Eternal Life of Goldman. New trailer out, and, wow, it’s like a gritty yet colorful ride where precision’s your best friend. Platforming at its finest with an intricate story. You’d think Aristotle wrote it. Okay, maybe not, but you get the drift.
Now, another game called Reanimal. This one’s from the folks who did Little Nightmares. Creepy, right? Yeah, even more so now. Siblings in a horror adventure with some gnarly monsters and pals. Plus, online and couch co-op modes. Talk about options.
Tides of Tomorrow — got a sneak peek. Digixart, the developers, gave us a taste of the async gameplay thingy. So, it’s like, decisions you make shape the post-apocalyptic chaos. Choose wisely, or don’t, who am I to judge?
Heads-up, Wreckfest 2’s vibin’ our way in 2026. It’s that smash-’em-up racing game where you, uhh, basically make scrap metal out of cars. Arcade meets simulation in a twisted love story of speed and destruction. Kinda like my cousin’s driving, ha!
And Titan Quest II is on the horizon. Remember the ARPG with mythological flair? Sounds like a Greek epic — choose masteries, craft heroes, and you’re facing gods and monsters. Classic meets cool.
Finally, Wreckreation — racing over a dinosaur’s head? Uh, sign me up! The makers of Burnout gone wild. You build, you race, you jam to your own tunes with the Game DJ. Pretty sure they broke the game developer mold with this one. Coming later this year.
Once Gamescom rolls around, expect hands-on playtime with Reanimal and SpongeBob. Plus, dev folks will be there, spilling all sorts of insider beans. Can’t wait.
