Man, I gotta talk about this wild Honkai: Star Rail version 3.4 livestream. Happened earlier today. Or was it yesterday? Time’s a blur. Anyway, new characters—they’re always the big deal, right? Everyone’s freaking out about them. Guess what? Yep, there they are, dancing across our screens, soon to land in the RPG.
But hang on, there’s more. The Fate/stay night collab event! Anyone remember last August when they said this was happening? Finally, it’s almost here. Took forever, huh? Ten months, to be exact. Like, an eternity in gamer time.
Random side note, ever just stare at those cookies settings when they pop up? No idea, just a thought that crosses my mind every time. Moving on.
Version 3.4? We’re getting Saber as a 5-Star Wind/Destruction character and Archer—another 5-Star who’s Quantum/Hunt. Archer’s free for just logging in during the collab. Sounds like a steal, right? And here’s the kicker: they’re sticking around longer than usual, until Version 3.6. That’s somewhere near November, I think. Maybe Thanksgiving?
Oh, and Phainon! That dude we met back on Amphoreus in 3.0? Yeah, turns out, we can play as him now. Another 5-Star—this time with Physical/Destruction stuff. I wonder is everyone else excited about this?
Plus, guess what? Six rerun banners this version. Six! Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle back for more in Phase 1. Then Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade in Phase 2. I mean, no new characters in that phase, but with all these options, who cares?
And let’s chat Stellaron Hunters! They’re getting jazzed up with battle tweaks and Eidolon effects—whatever that means—for Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade. And Firefly’s got a fancy new outfit. Jingliu too—there’s kit upgrades happening. Something about mercenaries and moral dilemmas, but hey, that adds spice, right?
Launch date? July 2nd. Mark the calendars, if that’s something you’re into. Banner switch happens July 23rd. And here’s the kicker—you can still watch the whole thing on VOD. Ever wonder who makes these decisions about dates and all? Maybe there’s a giant dartboard game at HoYoverse HQ.
Oh! Remember back in May? Version 3.3 brought Hyacine to life. Tough name to forget. And Cipher joined us last week. But here’s a twist—English voice actors were recast. Why, you ask? They were part of a SAG-AFTRA strike sorta thing. Power to them, honestly. But what about Dan Heng and Himeko? Their story seems a bit in limbo—bet there’s more drama there.
And I might’ve sidetracked a bit, but you get it. Changes, collabs, and those familiar voices— all throwing us on this roller-coaster. Isn’t it wild?
