Alright, buckle up, folks. Here we go. So, another week—can you believe it?—has rolled in for Destiny 2. It’s like time just zooms by when you’re not paying attention. We’ve got missions and challenges and all that jazz reset yet again. Bungie is dangling this carrot about some future revamp of the armor system. No joke, new bonuses are coming, and gear’s gonna get all tiered up come July with Edge of Fate. July’s not far off, so that’s kind of wild.
Anyway—uh, where was I? Oh right—this week had Bungie chatting about those legacy modes we all kind of get lost in. Gambit’s the biggie here. It’s putting its feet up for a hiatus. Yeah, I said it. Not gone forever or anything, just… taking a break. Collect your dusty gear, because Bungie’s not adding more goodies just yet. But, like, maybe don’t cry too hard? They hinted that Gambit’s not dead and dusted; new stuff might mosey in later on.
And then there’s all this usual reset content, the Nightfalls and Crucible modes pedestal-thingies where you chase rewards. It’s basically the weekly treadmill. And you’d need a book to list it all—trust me, I glanced through it.
Nightfall this week is Heist Battleground: Mars, and boy, are there some modifiers. They’re throwing around terms like Champions: Unstoppable and Overload, and that Galvanized one – harder to kill combatants. There’s loads more, honestly.
Moving on—Exotic Mission Rotation! Bungie’s like, “You want shiny new exotics? Here, run through these and snag the rewards.” This week, it’s the Presage mission for the Dead Man’s Tale. Sounds enticing, huh?
Oh, can’t forget about the Raids and Dungeons in rotation. Nothing like farming Vault of Glass or Crota’s End. They’ve got them ticking along with updated rewards, so go farm yourself silly.
Aaand over to Xur, that exotic dealer who’s more mysterious than the Loch Ness Monster. Pops up every weekend until the big ol’ reset. He’s got gear like Apotheosis Veil and Thunderlord. And don’t forget—the exotic cipher’s up for grabs. Check him out, if you remember on the weekend.
So, the Trials of Osiris, right? It’s on pause, but Iron Banner’s got your PvP fix covered this week. It’s like, the last run for a while, so maybe jump in?
Is there more? Always. But that’s the gist of what’s swirling in the Destiny 2 universe. Check back in each week—things change faster than socks around here.
