Oh wow, here we go again with the weather going nuts. Seriously, it’s like the sun’s turned into a giant blow dryer across the U.S. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any hotter—bam! Steam cranks it up with their Summer Sale madness.
So, this circus kicks off on, uh, Thursday, June 26. That’s at 10 a.m. if you’re chilling on the West Coast, or 1 p.m. if you’re catching rays in the East. They say it runs for two weeks and wraps up on the 10th of July. Anyway, what’s a sale without some sort of wacky celebration? Valve drops this trailer that’s, well, let’s just say interesting. You know the “Summertime” song? They’ve gone and turned it into a parody. Yeah, it’s called “An Ode to Steam Summer Sale” and Steam Lady’s on the mic. Not sure if it’s genius or just… hmm.
So yeah, weirdness aside, the trailer shows a bit of what’s on the menu for deals. Couple of cool titles like Balatro, Death Stranding—the usual suspects. And Pico Park 2 and a whole bunch more. I got a chuckle out of some of them being featured, honestly.
