Oh hey, so May’s PlayStation Plus lineup is dropping soon, and I guess it’s pretty wild, depending on who you ask. I was scrolling through the list and thought, “Why not share this?” You’re looking at adventure, mystery, and a touch of scare if that’s up your alley. Sand Land, for example, seems like a pretty intense ride through a desert world — like seriously, it’s an action RPG from the mind behind Dragon Ball. You’ve got this fiend prince, Beelzebub (crazy right?), just cruising through the sand in these custom vehicles. Anyway, the game is packed with bandits and wildlife, and there’s also this Royal Army making things tricky.
And for those with a craving for the cyberpunk vibe, Soul Hackers 2 has this sinister feel. I dunno, the neon lights, futuristic tech, and end-of-world drama sounds like a blend that might just suck you in. Imagine a digital hivemind popping out agents to stop a catastrophe. I could see myself forgetting dinner while playing that — well, if I played it.
If you need more creepiness in your life, there’s Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted. Oh boy, those infamous animatronics. I tried playing once, but quickly thought, “Nope, not tonight.”
And don’t even get me started on Battle Engine Aquila. Throwback to the PS2 days, now available on PS4 and PS5. Honestly, I didn’t even know this was a thing until recently. It’s like a blast from the past, literally. Flying around, shooting stuff. Seems cool if you’re into that scene.
Also on the table is Battlefield V, which, of course, takes you back to World War II. Sort of a classic at this point, no?
Then you have the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. I’ve heard folks go on about the survival aspect and radioactive oddities. If intense gunfights and mind-bending mysteries are your jam, maybe this should be on your radar.
For those into strategy, play Humankind. It’s like rewriting human history, but you’re the boss. Lead people from ancient times to now, and who knows, you might do better than some historical figures. It’s all about choices, ya know?
To wrap it up, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising lets newcomers dive into the fray alongside the vets. Press a button, do a move – simple thrills there.
There’s more to dive into, like Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life — farm life vibes galore. And Gloomhaven Mercenaries Edition for all you RPG lovers looking for a challenge. So, yeah, maybe check these out. Or don’t. Up to you.
