So…. here we go with this, uh, real-time brain dump. Today’s the last shot at snagging something from Amazon’s huge Prime Day—if you’re, like, into VR gaming. I mean, who isn’t these days?
Okay, so the Quest 3S popped onto the scene last October. Normally, you’d be shelling out $300 for the 128 GB version. But wait—it’s $400 if you, for some reason, need 256 GB. Seriously? Maybe you’re hoarding virtual stuff, who knows. The whole deal is it supports all those games from the Quest 3. Slightly bulkier, sure—and cheaper, which is always good, right?
Back to the discounts, because yeah, it’s still the main point here. Today—yeah, today—you can grab`em at a cut rate: $250 for the smaller version, and $330 for the beefier one. Don’t know why I find the word “beefier” funny, but it is.
Now, there’s a pic of it floating around online—thanks, Meta. Spoiler: It’s a headset. No idea why that photo stuck with me, maybe it’s because we’re all supposed to be living in virtual headsets now?
Oh, and the bundles, jeez, check this out: 128 GB variant has this Gorilla Tag software thingy bundled. Comes with funky in-game swag and 1,000 Shiny Rocks (that’s currency in the VR realm). The 256 GB version claims it’s got Batman: Arkham Shadow tucked in there, but here’s the kicker: you get it with both versions.
Then there’s this—hardware bundles! You know, like the ones you see and think “Oh, might save a buck” but nah, no cheaper than picking things individually. They got the Elite Strap, Battery, Case—yada yada.
Not like this is the hugest discount ever seen. Black Friday? Yeah, it was lower then. But who’s marking their calendar for that? Anyway, point is, you can dive into some cool virtual stuff now. Games like Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Half-Life: Alyx. Just tap into a VR-ready PC and boom, you’re in a different world.
