So, uh, KIWI Design rolled out this gadget called the K4 Duo. It’s this audio and battery head strap thingamajig for the Quest 3. And yeah, I know! Another head strap, right? But this one’s got these twisty speakers—like, you can spin ’em around. Not even kidding. You just pop a wire into the USB-C port and boom, audio choices galore.
Anyway, it’s got this 2650mAh battery. Now, numbers bore me, but I guess that’s good? It’s kinda hefty though, at 459 grams. Feels like you’re lugging around small dumbbells on your noggin. Oh, and there’s a spinny wheel at the back for tightening. It’s got memory foam, too. Comfy I guess, like the kind where your face sinks in just right.
Before I forget, we gotta test it more—I mean, like really put it through its paces—before declaring it one of the top gizmos for Quest 3. Last year, KIWI’s K4 Boost was a winner for us. Good times.
