Okay, so there’s this new ad thing for Monopoly Go, right? They’re calling it The Dice Life, and it’s like stepping into a time machine back to when we all argued over who got to be the thimble or whatever. Remember those days? Anyway, it’s got some big names. Will Ferrell’s back, playing the voice of Mr. Monopoly. I mean, can you picture him in those dorky glasses? Hilarious.
But get this—it’s like 90s TV explosion in your face. Omelet, the creative brains behind this, partnered with Monopoly Go devs, Scopely—those guys who love nostalgia way too much, or maybe just the right amount? Whatever. They whipped up a theme song, and honestly, it sounds like they just sat down and watched all the reruns of Friends or something. You know that jingle I can’t get out of my head now. Thanks, guys.
You’ll see Jake Johnson and Sunita Mani doing their thing in the ad. It’s snappy. Got that high drama vibe, like the kind when somebody flips the board out of nowhere. We’ve all been there… threatens family peace, right?
Oh! Before I forget, Monopoly Go’s lined up a Marvel collab—Fantastic Four, baby, just in time to ride the wave of that new movie dropping. Hits on July 13th, so mark it or don’t, I won’t remind you. Includes all kinds of mini-games, collectibles (because we’re all suckers for those), and some event about partners. So much happening. Honestly, my head spins just thinking about it.
Still no word on the next Treasures Event, though. The suspense is killing me. Last one wrapped up in late June, and here I am, biting my nails.
