Oh man, so here’s the deal—Bethesda, yeah, they’re in a weird spot. Back when they dropped this expansion, Shattered Space or whatever, it didn’t exactly set the world on fire, sales-wise. Now, there’s chatter about them tossing their super-talked-about space game, Starfield, over to PS5 sometime next year. Got that from a rumor mill somewhere.
And get this—MP1st’s got the scoop that it might hit shelves—or, you know, digital whatever—in spring 2026. Crazy, right? There’s mumbling about a neat little update and a second expansion tagging along too. But don’t expect any whisper of Starfield at this month’s Gamescom. That show’s already jam-packed with neat stuff like Hollow Knight: Silksong, and those cool ROG handhelds, what are they called? ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X—those things are nifty.
But back to Starfield—people have been buzzing about it landing on PS5 for ages. Makes sense kinda, with Xbox getting all buddy-buddy, sharing their big toys with PlayStation. I mean, by the time Xbox snagged Bethesda, Starfield was likely on track for all the consoles anyway. Plus, Xbox games crush it on PlayStation sales charts, like, seriously.
So, yeah…would you snag a copy of Starfield for the PS5? Thoughts? Just toss them out there, I’m all ears!
