Some of us have those never-ending lists, right? Like, I’m talking lists that could stretch from here to… who even knows where?
So, about Nintendo. They dropped this April update for Virtual Game Cards – squeezed it in just under the wire, like on the last possible day. Typical, right? Anyway, version 20 of the system software’s out now. You’ll find it lurking in the Switch’s settings menu. It’s supposed to do this new thing — “Virtual Game Card” something or other. This was in that Nintendo Direct thing in late March, I think. Imagine lending games or DLC to your family, or just hopping your games between two Switch consoles without needing Wi-Fi constantly. Pretty neat, I guess. They’ve got a guide for it too, but does anyone really read those? Maybe.
Oh, and more stuff for the Switch 2 popped up, something about GameShare and transferring things. You can move a bunch of saves all in one go now. Not sure why they didn’t do this sooner. Details are floating around somewhere if you wanna dive deeper, but that’s the gist. And somehow, everything came on time. Almost miraculous!
